We've been waiting for the perfect time to check out a drive in movie with kids. Ya know... not too hot, not too cold, preferably low on the mosquito factor, GOOD kid movie showing. We saw the original Cars movie years ago at the drive in when Grayson was a baby and Sofia was 2 1/2. It wasn't all that much fun. The kids were too little. We waited 5 years to go again and this time we saw Cars 2!! FUNNY! It was a late night, so the kids all took naps before we left. We arrived early, so the kids had time to play in the little park while I stocked up on popcorn at the concession stand. Grayson had a hard time sitting still and Scarlett fell asleep. Tadj, Sofia, and I just didn't really like the movie. We'll definitely do it again though.... hopefully by the end of the summer. We had fun!
We stopped and picked up glow necklaces for the occasion so we could spot the kids easier in the dark.
We LOVE the tailgate feature of our Town & Country. PERFECT for snuggling and being comfy for the movie.
