Tadj and I celebrated 11 years of Marriage on December 30th. We spent the weekend away!! The 31st was spent in Birch Run/ Frankenmuth after we dropped this kiddos off at Grandma Gay and Grandpa George's house. We watched cases of beer being hauled into our hotel, so decided to take sleeping pills and were KNOCKED OUT by 10:30pm. No midnight celebration for us! HA! We really needed sleep though. The kids had been all puking days beforehand and we were definitely sleep deprived. Jan. 1st we did some shopping in Birch Run, saw a movie ("True Grit"), and then headed over to our favorite B&B in Chesaning: The Stone House. It was just what we needed. The pictures are of our comfy bed and jacuzzi tub. It was SO quiet. We were the only couple in the house. The next morning, the owner/chef - Bob, made us a breakfast of huge apple pancakes with ice cream on top, fresh fruit (strawberries, pineapple, and kiwi), and beef sausage. YUM! The BEST breakfast ever! We headed to Great Lakes Crossing Mall for a bit more shopping and then home for another long nap before picking up our kids from Grandma Hardie's house. We missed them just a bit and were so glad they weren't sick for their Grandparents!!
